96% of the kids who attended the workshops loved it. When asked to name one thing they learned about indigenous traditions they made the following comments: They are very creative and have cool dances; There are 565 federally recognized tribes; They believe the drumbeat resembles there heartbeat. Only 42% of those attending the evening performance were aware of Minnesota's Art and Cultural Heritage Fund. Comments from the audience included: Great dances would have liked to see the rain dance and the woman Gancy dance Loved to see the younger generation getting into our heritage; very informative and interactive; This was the first time I watched Native American dance.
