Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

To encourage the reading of more Minnesota-based authors; To participate in the statewide celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Minnesota Book Awards. MNHS will provide the proposed measured outcomes for their programming.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Only 68% of those attending the mini-gala knew what the MNBA was before they came to the event. Comments from the event that evening included: Very fun funny learned about a couple of authors I was not familiar with. Inspiring; Wonderful way to bring the community together. Magnificent presentation - outstanding; and I found all the presenters to be extremely inspiring. Who knew people who write comedy also speak so well? Excellent combination of authors for this event. Thank you for bringing it to our region. MNHS surveyed the audience on all other events and has those results.
