Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees will be exposed to different musical genres and cultural artistic programs learning more about the world around them. They will also become familiar with their local public library and local history center.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Roy Rogers: “Brought back many memories” -- “Kept everyone's interest with audience participation.” -- “Enjoyed it very much (I would have appreciated the music more if the man did not play his harmonica. I wear hearing aids and the high pitch of the harmonica is harder on my ears.) However, maybe for others the harmonica was great.” -- “Continue with type of fine programs and entertainment. (Tell the government to keep their hands off your funds!)” -- “It was great. Brought back a lot of memories of my childhood - especially the movie. Friday night my cousin went to the paradise in Mora with 25 cents - 14 for movie, 10 cents for popcorn and 1 cent left over.” / More Than Nikolina: “Liked the history of the people, instruments and music. Liked the presenters, obviously enjoyed the music.” -- “Excellent, music, with dances costumes and instruments explanations” -- “Very enjoyable. Fantastic. Never heard of this instrument - hope to hear more of this group.” -- “Wonderful music. Greatly skilled musicians. Learned a lot about Swedish music. Very informative.” / Beginning Genealogy by Stephen Barthel: “The speaker Mr. Barthel did a wonderful job and gave us some excellent information.” -- “It would have been helpful to have a handout of the basic websites and brief description of each. Too much info - he bounced from one subject to another - scattered. Didn't define words - index, extract...” -- “Could have been more organized with info. Very knowledgeable.” -- “Printed material on genealogy would be helpful with websites, etc.” / Living History Fashion Show: “Very interesting and informative!” -- “The models were able to answer questions, very knowledgeable. I was impressed.” -- “It was interesting to see the old style clothing. Very informative.” -- “More variety of info and outfits.” -- “Hand out with FACTS of era, years of fashion etc.. Info of ASSN.” / Barbary Coast: “It was an excellent concert on a fabulous Minnesota Sunday afternoon. Enjoyed it greatly.” -- “You should have advertised more in the local paper. Didn't see anything the last 2 weeks.” -- “Very nice, very fun, outdoors was great” -- “I loved the Star Wars music. I'd see it again !” -- “Very pleasant place to sit and listen to some great music”
