Project Overview
The Madwewechige (Play Music) and Arts Gala will be a two-day festival featuring local musicians, comedians, spoken word, sketch and craft artists in a family friendly venue. The goal of the Madwewechige and Arts Gala is to increase the potential for Minnesota artists to earn income from their work through increased exposure.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)
The goal of the Madwewechige and Arts Gala is to increase the potential for Minnesota artists to earn income from their work through increased exposure. Success of the Madwewechige and Arts Gala will be documented by attendance numbers, web statistics, calls, emails and listener surveys. In addition, KKWE will track and report on the number of additional Ampers stations that air the programs.
Measurable Outcome(s)
- Arts and Music Gala was held April 26th and 27th
- KKWE had 25 art vendors and 18 performers lined up
- As a result of the exposure, some of the artists who displayed work at the event have since had the opportunity to display their art at the Historic Holmes Theater in Detroit Lakes
