Project Overview

RiverFest is a free community festival based around the many talented musicians, crafters, and artists from Northwest Minnesota. In its third year in 2012, RiverFest typically draws 1,300 people to Hartz park in Thief River Falls for a celebration of the area's roots and culture. In its first year, the event drew 11 musicians and 30 arts and crafts vendors. This year, the event is expanding to two days. KSRQ will contract with musical performers who will appear on the Pioneer 90.1 (KSRQ) stage. Performances will be recorded and broadcast on-air.
