Project Overview
"The Local Alternative" is a weekly one-hour program featuring the music of Minnesota indie and garage rock bands. "The Local Alternative" bridges the gap between internet-based promotion of local alternative bands, and the wider exposure offered by college radio. High school and college students are brought into the production of the show by inviting them to interview local groups on the air.
