KSRQ - Goodtime Old Time
Over almost 40 years, Cathy Erickson of Middle River has developed relationships with nearly every polka and old-time performer in Minnesota. Many of the bands and individual performers make their own homemade CDs to sell at their performances throughout the rural communities served by KSRQ. Cathy has a archived these recordings and will share them, along with the interviews from the performers who make them, on her new program, "Goodtime Old-Time." The weekly hour-long program will be broadcast on Pioneer 90.1, archived on radionorthland.org, and shared with Ampers stations statewide.
Increased web hits, increase in time spent listening to online stream, distribution on air, mobile app, and online.
Staff will edit a five hour long show featuring old music, and polka music to specifically showcase the Minnesota tracks that were played and broadcast for listeners.
