KVSC - Granite City Radio Theatre
KVSC will partner with the Pioneer Place on 5th Theatre in St. Cloud to produce four live radio and theatre events. Each show will be a two-hour live radio and theatre broadcast, the shows would air live on KVSC as performed on stage. The confirmed venue dates available include October 2012, December 2012, March 2013 and June 2013 (quarterly). The programs would air live from 8-10 p.m.
from the historic theatre in St. Cloud (the theatre building, on the national historic register, is celebrating is 100th year in 2013).
Increased exposure of professional writers/actors/producers to students/community. Attendance totals at 4 live events, artist participation in pre-event interviews with KVSC, local media, artist meeting with relevant university and high school outreach to engage students, students/volunteers engaged in planning, organizing and execution of radio theatre events. Successful collaboration with local theatre and area schools.
Four shows were produced during the 2013 fiscal year. All of the shows were sold out with average attendance upward of 95 percent. Episode 1 Part 1
