These vignettes highlight events and organizations such as: The Annual Juneteenth Celebration, The Rondo Days Celebration, KUXL Radio, Northside Achievement Zone, The Mastery Schools and The Cinco de Mayo Celebration St. Paul to name a few.
These events and organizations played major roles in Minnesota’s African American community and overall communities of color so the goal is to highlight and document them with accurate well researched information for future generations to learn from.An estimated number of listeners for the segments, response from the website campaign and number of Facebook impressions and commints for those posted on Facebook. We will also post vignettes on the AMPERS/PRX website and calculate impressions.
- The focus of these programs, which aired over a span of three months was to showcase the different events and organizations that have had positive change in the lives of people of color
