KMOJ - Heritage Live Series

These events provide a chance for the artist to perform live to a diverse audience and receive valuable feedback from industry professionals. KMOJ also utilizes several community events that take place each year to execute this project. These events include: The KMOJ 6th Annual Voyage “Trip Down the Mississippi” Boat Ride, The Juneteenth Celebration, The Rondo Days Celebration, North Minneapolis Arts Crawl/FLOW, The Minneapolis Urban League Family Day and The KMOJ-Minneapolis Park Board “Community Day”
The primary goal of this project is to create opportunities to showcase local and statewide musical artist, visual artist, spoken word poets and other unique musical genres to the Twin Cities in an environment that will provide them with major exposure. KMOJ's goal is to also provide the people of Minnesota with events that will promote unity and pride with a focus of giving the youth a historical perspective about their community.
