Project Overview
KVSC would use Legacy funds to contract local musicians and bands to perform as part of the station’s Minnesota Music Concert events. KVSC will organize, promote and host free (or nominally charged) live music event(s) for the public to attend. The budget proposed will allow us to pay 2-4 bands, sound reinforcement for local venues (local theatres, auditoriums) and other related costs of
hosting a major musical event.

- Increased exposure of musicians to students and the community
- Attendance totals, artist participation in pre-event interviews with KVSC and other local media
- Students engaged in planning and execution of event
- Social media exposure (likes/re-tweets, comments etc.).
Measurable Outcome(s)
- KVSC's spring Minnesota Music Concert too place in May at a local venue off campus and had three Minnesota Artists perform
- Attendance was around 350 people
