Project Overview

KVSC will use existing studio space (of which Legacy Funds from FY12 paid for the audio board) to launch St. Cloud Somali Radio. The new programming will be streamed live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via a dedicated web stream from a dedicated studio within KVSC’s state of the art facilities. The content will be updated frequently from local producers, music hosts and bilingual guests. The studio can also be used live for interviews, community comments and spotlights on arts and cultural success, such as new restaurants and Somali owned businesses within the Central Minnesota Somali community.
