25 classes offered Dec 2015 - Jan 2016. Participants will learn more about theater and acting. Patrons will have the opportunity for patrons to try out acting. Related materials circulation will increase.

Measurable Outcome(s)

For adults: 89% had the opportunity to try acting, play reading, dance, or voice projection. 95% know more about theater, acting, dancing or voice projection. 38% have or plan to check out related library materials. 99% rated the quality of the program as good or better. Selected comments: “Fun, challenging, well planned warm-up. Leave new appreciation for what we see on stage.” “Excellent. Now I want to research acting techniques & practice. I think it will help me give when I give presentations.” “I really enjoyed reading with others- it’s really nice to be able to listen to others & get a better idea of the plot.”

For teens: 79% tried acting or dance and 76% know more about acting or dance. 18% have or plan to check out related library materials. 63% rated the quality of the program as excellent or good. Selected comment: “Very informative & enjoyable. Thanks so much for your time, this excites me for my own theater experiences.”

For kids: 96% tried acting and 31% know more about theater and acting. 47% have or plan to check out related library materials. 86% enjoyed the workshop. Selected comment: “I really liked this program, it was so creative & hilarious!”
