Project Overview
The Looney Lutherans will be the keynote event to kick off the Hastings Senior Expo with whom the Pleasant Hill Library is partnering to better serve the 55+ population. The Looney Lutherans will use music, comedy, and audience help to share age old wisdom for living a long and healthy life.

Patrons will get to meet the Looney Lutherans and enjoy their musical comedy at the start of the Hastings Senior Expo. Patrons will receive information about aging gracefully and with humor.

Patrons were able to listen to the performance of The Looney Lutherans and enjoy their musical comedy. One patron said "The Looney Lutherans were their favorite part of the morning." Another person told staff that she hadn’t had that good of a belly laugh in a long time and she REALLY needed it!
