Project Overview
Six sessions of Bats and Batik – Learn about bat life and all the fascinating and wonderful things they can do. Create a glow-in-the-dark night sky with special supplies, then add a paper bat or two to complete the scene.
Four sessions of Stars, Planets, Paper - Learn about the things we see sparkling in the night sky and make a 3D card with waffle paper, colored pencils, markers, and other shiny art materials.
Three sessions of Tiny Crawlers and Macro Photo - Learn about ant life (and other tiny crawlers) and how to shoot super close-ups with our cameras. Next, take a micro-hike outside and photograph the teeny living things that we sometimes walk right by.
Six sessions of Stars, Yoda, and Spaceship Origami – Learn about the night sky and make celestial and Star Wars themed objects out of colorful paper, your folds, and no glue. The objects will range in complexity from easy to intermediate in difficulty.
