Three Rivers Park will present free 45-minute storytimes in the libraries for preschoolers and early elementary and parents/caregivers about nature through fun activities and play.

Participants will gain a greater understanding of the nature topics of the programs, and make these gains in an enjoyable setting.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Over 400 kids and adults enjoyed 13 storytimes by Three Rivers Park District naturalists. Each storytime had a nature theme and corresponding activities and books to expand the learning experience for kids and families. At six of the storytimes, participants had the opportunity to interact with and observe a live animal for the kids.
