Superhero to the Rescue Art Class (6/25): Imagine yourself as a superhero and create your own costume to wear home. Presented by Kidcreate Studio. Each child must be accompanied by a caregiver. Registration required for child only. Ages: 2–5. Goo Factory (6/26): Mix a batch of finger paint, silly putty and other homemade concoctions and get ready to get messy. Presented by Kidcreate Studio. Each child must be accompanied by a caregiver. Registration required for child only. Ages: 2–6. Tie Dye Party (7/7): Bring your own white T-shirt to tie dye in class and to wear all summer. Presented by Kidcreate Studio. Registration required. Ages: 4–9. Ahoy Matey Art Class (7/15): “Shiver me timbers” and “me hearty” are just a few phrases you’ll master while making clay pirate ships. Decorate the ships with jewels and doodads and use bubble paint to create an ocean to sail. Presented by Kidcreate Studio. Registration required. Ages: 3–6. How to Draw a Horse (7/17): Learn to draw a horse using a simple step-by-step process and paint the final project on a real canvas board. Presented by Kidcreate Studio. Registration required. Ages: 5–12. Lego Star Wars Art Camp (6/29-30): Legos and Star Wars make an amazing combination. Use Legos, paint, clay and other art supplies to create Star Wars masterpieces that every young Jedi will love. Presented by Kidcreate Studio. Registration required for both days. Ages: 4–9.

Ahoy Matey Class: Made boats using felt sails, clay boat, doo-dad decorations-- a wonderful for this young age group and first opportunity to work with clay for some. Really nice results, a lot of challenge, 90 minutes of sustained interest! Ruth was great. Draw a Horse: Step by step instructions on how to draw a horse with a fantastic instructor. Lego Star Wars Art Camp: Kids created their own Star Wars sculptures using a variety of materials and really liked getting to incorporate their favorite characters into their pieces. Superhero to the Rescue: Kids created really fun masks and capes to create their own superhero character. Goo Factory: Kids had a super fun time getting gloppy and making some creations to take home. Tie Dye Party: Kids created psychedelic art on tee shirts and had a fun time experimenting with color combinations and patterns.
