Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The Kindergarten Card Party is a system wide initiative to get all kindergarteners a library card. The event is designed to put purpose and weight behind this initiative and to that end we make a "big deal" out of this literacy milestone. Having a special guest or visitor places additional importance on the event and gives the program value.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Families were engaged as they attended the annual Kindergarten Card Party. Trisha Speed Shaskan and Stephen Shaskan highlighted their new picture book Punk Skunks due out in February.
