Attendees will explore and gain understanding of culture and racism in pre-Civil Rights Mississippi through Odell's presentation. The Twin Cities Gospel Choir will provide broader context with musical selections to represent the period.

Measurable Outcome(s)

On April 23, 250 attendees enjoyed Odell's presentation and the Twin Cities Gospel Choir performance which provided insight and greater understanding of race and culture in pre-Civil Rights Mississippi on April 23.
The Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir also performed at the Galaxie Library on March 5 (only date available) to celebrate Black History Month (February) where 75 attendees gained an understanding of race, culture and history.
