Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Patrons will learn about Haitian history and celebrate Black History during February.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Patrons enjoyed Haitian stories, songs, dancing, and drumming. There was audience participation. Wonderful program! We had 2 or 3 families who came with children adopted from Haiti; it was very special to watch Djenane speak French with them and make that connection back to home. Other families talked about re-building efforts they are doing at their churches for Haiti. 2 families drove up from Alexandria.
