Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Children will enjoy stories, songs and activities with a professional storyteller.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Brian always has the audience engaging in the stories in new ways and I [the librarian] learn a new skill every time I watch him perform. He read Go Away, Big Green Monster, a storytime classic, but had the kids making a winding motion with their hands while saying "and...." as the page turned to either add or subtract a piece of the monster. I had never though to do that, but the kids got so into it and they were anticipating it by about the third time.
Kids were laughing the entire time
Brian has instant rapport with the kids--they adore him! I think he's pretty fabulous, too. They loved his stories about vehicles of all kinds.
Kids had a great time with three great books, a song, all presented with a dynamic style
