People who haven't been to the library will receive information on the library and its services. The libraries will build partnerships with local community groups and schools
Measurable Outcome(s)
770 first-graders received information on the library and engaged in a musical performance promoting reading and stories. The Shakopee Rotary and Shakopee Public Schools worked together to coordinate the event to get all first-graders excited about reading and learning. One first-grader high-fived the library representative on the way out of the program and said, "This was the best field trip ever!"
