Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The public will be engaged with this program that teaches about Minnesota history and literary history.

Measurable Outcome(s)

To celebrate Maud Hart Lovelace's birthday and the announcements of the Lovelace Book Awards, the Columbia Heights Library hosted Maud herself. At one point, Maud started to cough and staff brought her a bottle of water. She looked at it with a perplexed expression on her face and asked what it was. The crowd’s favorite part was when she brought out period costumes for the audience to wear and act out different things like driving a car and beating a rug. One of our regular patrons brought his kids who were laughing hysterically at him in costume doing the actions.
