Project Overview
Author Bill Schrankler will discuss his new book, “Shadows of Time…Minnesota’s Surviving Depots.” The book brings to life 168 of Minnesota’s remaining rail road depots, including six from Ramsey County. Bill will share entertaining, fact filled information gathered along with hundreds of photographs, maps and other images. His narrative provides a look at Minnesota railroad history through brief studies of the aging structures that range from opulent buildings to small wooden structures.

To provide an engaging program to conclusion of the Depot Photo Exhibit that will be installed at the Watertown Library December 2015 and on display until the evening of the program. To support the Watertown Historical Society’s railroad theme for Rails to Trails both summer of 2015 & 2016 which focuses on the 100th anniversary of the Luce Line RR.

Presenter was amazing he was very knowledgeable and his passion for the topic was shared with his audience. The PowerPoint presentation was very inclusive and entertaining.
