Parents and children will learn more about early literacy skills, enjoy early literacy activities about a Minnesota author's book , and enjoy a musical performance.

Measurable Outcome(s)

110 parents and children came together to practice early literacy skills centered around the Minnesota Book Award winning title Moo! Children created mini-books starring Cow, played the Life-Size Game of Moo, listened and sang songs with Duke Otherwise, wrote what Cow was saying, read the book Moo! through a storywalk, and talked with their parents and library staff about the book and its characters.
