Attendees will learn about the value and historical significance of antiques and collectibles brought in by members of the community. The library's antiques reference collection will be highlighted.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned about the historical significance of items they brought in for appraisal as well as the stories of items brought in by other members of their community. Research techniques used by appraisers were demonstrated and attendees learned about resources available through the library for identifying and determining the value of antiques.
