library materials. For Art of Memory: Patrons will have hands-on experience making art; patrons will
learn something new about creating art; patrons will explore their personal histories; patrons will
check out related library materials; patrons will increase personal connection to the library. For Crafty
Minnesota: Patrons will have an opportunity to learn a textile craft; patrons will learn more about
textile craft practices or history; patrons will check out related library materials.

For Art for Life: 95% created art. 99% learned something new about art. 54% have or plan to check out related library materials. 100% rated the quality of the program as good or better. Patron comments: “Wonderful, fun, great & fun instructor, will do this wreath making with grandkids." “Excellent, creative hands on craft. Fun & informative class. Thanks."

For Art of Memory: 100% created art. 100% learned something new about art. 100% explored their personal history or memories while creating art. 38% have or planned to check out library materials about art.100% rated the quality of the program as excellent. Patron comments: “…I discovered more things about myself. It helped me be more creative while telling my story. I enjoyed seeing what others did to express themselves." "This class finally got me focused on beginning my memoirs. It helped me separate my WWII experiences from my family memoirs. "

For Crafty Minnesota: 100% practiced a textile craft. 95% learned something new about textile crafts or textile history. 64% planned to check out library materials after attending this program. 100% rated the quality of the program as good or better. Patron comments: "Teacher was very good! Picked up a lot of tips that had frustrated me before." "It’s fun to try new arts & crafts & not have to buy all the materials in case I don't enjoy.
