Project Overview
Makeup (6/16 S. St. Paul, 7/9): Work with a professional SteppingStone Theatre artist to learn the secrets of stage makeup including dramatic and special effects makeup and how to make fake blood. Registration required. Ages: 12–18.
Sound Design (6/16 Wescott): Work with a SteppingStone Theatre artist to create noises, sounds and music to make your story into a dramatic scene. Registration required. Ages: 9–16.
Magic (7/30, 8/6): Work with a professional magician to learn how to perform amazing tricks with everyday objects. Presented by SteppingStone Theatre. Registration required. Ages: 8–14.

Measurable Outcome(s)
Magic: Kids learned about showmanship and discovered multiple magic tricks that they can do with things found around your home. Scott was a great instructor, keeping the kids engaged for the whole class.
Stage Makeup: The stage makeup instructor was knowledgeable, relaxed, did a great job of "coaching" vs "doing" and the girls made some pretty interesting makeup choices.
Sound Design: Kids learned how to think about what sounds would help to tell a story and how to create sounds with various instruments. They enjoyed making lots of noise.
