Learn to make Japanese kumihimo braids, a cool spiral pattern made from eight strands of yarn. We will make our braids on a marudai loom we create in class and show you everything you need to know to make your own signature pattern.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Teens learned the art of kumihimo braiding. All the teens enjoyed learning something new. Although the attendance may seem low, this program was held one of our smallest branches--eight teens is a full house!
