First Thursdays in the Club
Participants will experience new music and dance traditions in a venue and format that builds community.
155 evaluations were returned at the six events. When asked to rate the quality of the event, 146 out of 153 responding to that question rated it 4 or 5 out of 5 (with 1 being "Poor" and 5 being "Excellent"). When asked "How familiar are you with the style of music & dance at this program?," over one-third rated their familiarity a 1, 2 or 3 (with 1 being "Not at all" and 5 being "Very familiar." Many of the evaluations had positive comments about the live music, socialization, and learning about the music and instruments being the favorite aspects of the events. The City of Prior Lake is an enthusiastic partner in the events, sharing in the cost of performers and contributing staff and space for the events.
NOTE: attendance does not reflect an additional 203 people at the 10/2, 11/6 and 3/5 events which were reported separately as Live at the Library events. Total attendance was 520 for all six events.
