Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Youth will learn art techniques and create sculptures with a professional artist.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Very engaging projects using wood, wire. etc. to create unique sculptures. The project itself was a really cool one that would be hard for most librarians to offer (tools and training). During the program, the kids decided on a shape and bent wire to create it. Then they mounted the wire on a wooden block to make it stable. Some of the elements the teens were not able to accomplish on their own, but the ideas were definitely all theirs, and Caitlin did a good job of encouraging them to try doing it on their own before she would help them out.
