Ten Penny Tunes will perform a variety of folk music on a collection of interesting instruments. Audience participation is encouraged. The band introduces young audiences to a variety of folk music, some of the history about the music, and information on an array of instruments. The performers also encourage the audience to look at the library collection of books, CDs and DVDs featuring music as part of their program.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Families interacted in a variety of activities involving the many ways to make music a non-traditional way. Many children had the opportunity to participate directly in producing the performance.
