For First Pages for Adults: 95% I received encouragement to continue their writing. 93% learned a new tool to improve their writing skills or process. 80% had or planned to check out library materials about topics covered in the day’s workshop. 100 % rated the quality of the program as good or better. Selected comments: “This class was really inspiring & I am excited to get home & write.” “Very accessible and easy to understand. Optimistic, but based in reality. It was very helpful.”
For First Pages for Teens: 75% I received encouragement to continue their writing. 100% learned a new tool to improve their writing skills or process. 80% had or planned to check out library materials about topics covered in the day’s workshop. 100 % rated the quality of the program as good or better. Selected comments: “It was fun, got some new knowledge that I didn't know.” “Thanks, super fun.” For First Pages for Kids: After attending the program, 51% were more excited about writing. 51% learned something new that will improve their writing. 30% had or planned to check out library books or DVDS about writing. 96 % rated the quality of the program as good or better. Selected comments: “It was very, very, very, fun to come to the library to learn about writing. It was awesome!!!!!!”, “I love doing the writing. I would definitely go again.”
