Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Youth will learn hands-on art techniques and processes from a professional instructor.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Kids practiced then drew and water-colored Zentangle, they really enjoyed creating unique patterns from scratch.
Kids created 'op-art', learning how to create optical illusions using black and white techniques, then applying color to add dimension. Instructor brought blank journals and wonderful decorative items to collage on them. Excellent program, kids were so focused and quiet the entire time they were working on their pieces. Each piece of art was unique, and very cool!
Mixed-Up Media: the instructor brought a ton of different options for kids to experiment in making mixed-media art pieces. They used texture and paint to create unique paintings/collages.
