Combining the spirit of Mexican tradition with 1970’s folk music. La Familia Torres-Peña will play a varied program of old Mexican traditional songs, along with songs taken from Mexican pop and music halls, love songs, and adaptations of American pop and Irish music. The group sings great harmony arrangements and plays a wide variety of instruments.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Audience liked that there were no amplifiers and beautiful acoustic sound. Great songs that also provided great stories. Comments also included the authenticity and knowledge of the performers added to the programming.
