Author Talk: Wendy Webb
Participants will become more familiar with Wendy Webb, enjoy an outstanding literary reading, become more knowledgeable about the writing experience, and benefit from direct access to a talented author.
An evaluation form based on the outcomes from the grant application were distributed. 100% of respondents enjoyed the author's presentation, particularly how she developed her stories and what inspired her. In speaking with attendees after the event, two people stated that the Webb event was equal to or better than the William Kent Krueger program, which has always been the most revered author event we have hosted. 67% of survey respondents were not familiar with Webb's work before attending the event. 100% of respondents learned something new about the writing process.
