Project Overview
“Songs on the Lawn” is an extremely popular musical event held from 11am to 1pm each Thursday in June through Greater Mankato Growth. It features area musicians, numerous food vendors and a positive family atmosphere. Songs on the Lawn gives co-workers, friends and families from all around the region an opportunity to gather in the City Center to enjoy live music from area bands. Blue Earth County Library’s participation will provide a venue for kids to sign up for the library’s Summer Reading Program, support our local community as a downtown partner and provide information about the library and it’s many services and features to a wide-ranging audience.
