Read Under the Big Top Zoo Man Show
Our summer reading program will encourage kids and teens to think of reading as fun and
adventurous, and encourage all patrons to see the library as a place that offers a wide welcome.
By show of hands we will determine: 90% of the participants will have fun at the library, 50% of the participants will learn something new, 50% of the participants will want to learn more about the subject, 70% of the participants will want to come back to the library for more programs.
The Zoo Man was well attended. All the participants were excited at the conclusion of the program. The Zoo Man stayed an extra 45 min. to let all the kids who wanted to get their pictures taken with the animals. 50% of the participants came into the library to look at, if not check out, books pertaining to the animals the Zoo Man had brought. The children asked many questions during and after the program.
