Robert and Lynn Halbrook will present “Professor Marvel’s Amazing Archaeological Adventures,” a fun, interactive program about archaeology that incorporates magic, comedy and a strong emphasis on reading and “digging for good books” at the public library.

This program will provide valuable information about archaeology as well as the importance of learning through books and other resources at the public library. Participants will have a greater understanding and appreciation of fascinating topic. Outcomes will be measured through a post-program survey, anecdotal responses and comments by those who attended the program.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The audience was treated to a variety of magic and comedy with an underlying message of the importance of reading and the habit of life-long learning. Comments from participants were all very positive after the program and the message of learning and exploring through books and other library material resonated throughout the audience's verbal feedback.
