Project Overview
The Zoomobile from the Minnesota Zoo provided entertainment to families in the communities of Henderson and Arlington. The director of the program brought a variety of animals including a great homed owl, a chinchilla, a snake, an opossum, and a Madagascar hissing cockroach. She educated the attendees on the homes, lifestyles and eating habits of above species. The program was around an hour long with additional time for touching and petting of animals and the opportunity for kids to ask questions.

A majority of participants were expected to find amusement, pleasure and fun from the program. All of that and then some was observed.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees found great pleasure and entertainment in the program. Library usage increased. The anticipated approximate attendance was actually well exceeded. 40 people were expected and over 100 people attended each program.
