Project Overview
This event celebrated the new joint powers agreement for our library system as well as kicked off our Hot Reads for Cold Nights winter reading program. The night included a small ribbon-cutting ceremony, the amazing jazz duo Café Mélange, a trivia competition. The trivia rounds featured questions about local history, a live music Name That Tune, libraries, and 2013/2014 book news.

Survey respondents enjoyed the music, meeting new people, learning new facts, and the overall feeling of fellowship at the program. A small percentage of survey respondents thought they would check out the library's jazz CD collection.
