Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

This popular and educational program gives participants an “up-close” experience with birds of prey that live in our state. The U of M Raptor Center provides a comprehensive look at various birds, their habitat and feeding habits. With greater appreciate of these birds, many native to Minnesota and their vital role within the overall environment, participants will have a greater knowledge of nature and how both man and animals affect their surroundings. The audience will be surveyed by observation and post program anecdotal responses

Measurable Outcome(s)

Those who attended this program came away with a better understanding of birds of prey that inhabit our region and learned how these birds live and contribute to the overall health of the environment. Antidotal responses were extremely positive.
