CLIMB Theatre: Fizz and Boom Read
We will ask the day care providers for anecdotal feedback. Did the kids remember the play the next day? Did kids ask to go back to the library? What did the kids like best?
The play was very funny and educational. The science part may have been too complicated for the youngest viewers to understand, but the kids were attentive. The play was very well-attended in both cities, especially in St. James. They were easy to work with and professional. The kids enjoyed the play and the day cares were a big part of our summer reading program. A favorite part of the play was when cat tried to convince the mice to come closer. We had strong cooperation with area day cares during the summer reading program and hope to build on this next summer. CLIMB Theatre generously awarded Watonwan County a travel reimbursement grant and a program support discount, so the final cost was much less than the original quoted cost.
