John Duggleby will present "Boogie in the Barnyard," a musical program featuring singing and dancing targeted to the young audience. John wears a chicken costume, dances the "Chicken Dance" and talks about farm animals. This is a very entertaining and interactive program for the participants.

This program will make learning about farm animals fun and encourage the audience to learn more about common barnyard animals. The focus is on exploring and expanding a world that is familiar to some and part of the culture of southern Minnesota. Outcomes will be measured through post-performance anecdotal responses and comment by those attending the program.
Measurable Outcome(s)
The audience was entertained with stories and songs related to barnyard animals. They also came away with a better understanding and appreciation of animals that we take for granted in our area. Positive comments were shared about the presentation and the encouragement given throughout the show regarding reading and life-long learning.
