Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees will learn something new, check out library materials about photography and Minnesota and enjoy the presentation and information.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The adults who attended the program were attentive throughout the entire program. They interacted with Doug and asked great questions and supplied information about our local library that I didn’t know! Afterwards when we were enjoying looking at and purchasing Doug’s books and eating treats from the Friends group, some of the attendees talked to him more about the libraries he visited and it seemed they were just itching to hear more stories. Great program! Doug Ohman’s photography program on the State Parks of Minnesota was fun and informative. He spent about 75 minutes sharing photos and adding interesting facts about the photos. Several times there were audible gasps at the beauty of his photography. Audience members shared their experiences at some of the state parks, which turned the program into conversation rather than a presentation. I was thrilled at the turnout – we packed the Community Center meeting room! After the program, Doug sold and signed copies of his books and chatted with folks who stuck around to visit. A fantastic event – highly recommended!
