Project Overview
Programs this year included the screening of the documentary, The Path to Nazi Genocide; a book discussion led by Beth Christensen, former English teacher and event co-planner; and a presentation by Joni Sussman, the daughter of Holocaust survivors. This year we were fortunate to be able to schedule a traveling photographic exhibit, Transfer of Memory, made up of portraits and stories of Holocaust survivors living in the Twin Cities. VINE Adult Community Center housed the exhibit and also collaborated with the community read by setting up a bus trip to Temple Israel Synagogue in Minneapolis.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The audience will be exposed to many types of entertainment in a singular performance. We anticipate a large audience so we will determine outcomes by a show of hands, questions asked of the entertainer and comments made.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Most audience members did not know what to expect of the performance. After the show they expressed their delight and amazement in the acts he performed. They were excited to learn some "tricks of the trade. Most stayed the entire performance some were on a come and go basis since the performance was outside on the front lawn of the Kremer House. When asked less than 5% had ever seen or heard of Peter Bloedel before
that day. 50% of the audience had seen a similar performance but clarified that nothing was of this caliber. Most had seen some type of act that did one of the performances listed but not all of it together. He was outstanding! 7% of the audience had ever used the Kremer House Library services and Jess than 10% had ever used the Wells Public library services. The entire audience was in awed after the show. Both Peter and I were thanked several times for the performance after the show and throughout the night at the other Festag activities.
