Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The presenters will provide a comprehensive and informative overview of creatures from around the world and in our backyard and will discuss how these creatures are part of and contribute to the ecology of various regions. The audience will learn and be encouraged to expand their knowledge of these species including reptiles and amphibians that are indigenous to Minnesota. The program emphasizes growth and understanding of creatures and ecologies that are familiar and different than our own. Program success will be based on anecdotal responses at the conclusion of the program.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The audiences were entertained and educated regarding reptiles and amphibians, some that are native to this area and some that come from different parts of the world. The audiences were encouraged to observe and physically touch some of the species that were featured and to read more about the creatures they saw. The participants were very pleased and grateful to have this experience in their communities.
