Project Overview
Mad Science delivered unique, hands-on science experiences for children that were as entertaining as they are educational. Mad Science used comedy and performance to spark imaginative learning and make science exciting. This show focused on heroes, their powers/skills, and their music. For this show, there were many fizzes, booms, sparks and other exciting reactions related to the heroes from culture and literature, including Anne of Green Gables, Batman, retired principal Donald Vinberg, Huckleberry Finn, Pippi Longstocking, Pokemon, Power Rangers, Scooby Doo, Spiderman, Sponge Bob Square Pants, Stuart Little, and Superman. The heroes “theme music” was played and clues were given for the children to guess which superhero the experiment was dedicated to. This program featured our loudest and most enthusiastic crowds of the summer!
