Project Overview
The Teddy Bear Band is a multi-talented musical group that provides a family friendly performance for the audience. They provide a mixture of musical styles which incorporate history, literacy, culture and family values within a developmentally appropriate and musically entertaining show. Along with the musical performance, the Blue Earth County Library will also have a booth to provide the public in attendance of the wide variety of programs and services offered by the public library.

It is anticipated that those in attendance for the Mankato Christmas Festival will enjoy the musical aspects of this performance as well as visit the Blue Earth County Library booth at the event. Participants will be entertained by the historical and cultural aspects of the Teddy Bear Band and have an opportunity to learn more about the library and the many services the library provides. Outcomes will be based on the number of attendees at the festival and anecdotal responses regarding the band and the information provide at the booth.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The Teddy Bear Band was a fun and entertaining part of the Mankato Christmas Festival bringing merriment and education to the festivities. Those who watched the program provided positive feedback regarding the band’s skill and the variety of music provided. Attendees were encouraged to learn more about our rich musical culture through the resources available at the library.
