Project Overview
Bill Jamerson gave a musical tribute to the Civilian Conservation Corp, the job works government program created during the Great Depression that paid a “dollar-a-day” for jobs such as planting trees, building roads and sidewalks, and constructed parks. Jamerson used music, stories, and video to present this hour long program. The CCC Boys of Minnesota did work in Le Sueur County and spent their money in Waseca keeping the merchants in business.
